Our Bison are raised hormone, steroid and drug free. We feed our animals grass, grain, and natural mineral supplements.

What is unique about Bison Meat?

Bison meat is a "Heart Smart " meat that is low in fat, calories and cholesterol.

Bison meat is also higher in zinc and iron than other red meats.

All products are provincially slaughtered, inspected and processed.

Farmer’s Almanac 2004 Predicts Buffalo as the “New Red Meat” for 2004
Buffalo will be the “in” red meat for 2004, according to the latest edition of the Old Farmer’s Almanac. The 2004 Edition of the almanac contains a prediction reading, “New Red Meat: Watch for bison to catch on as the new healthy alternative to beef.”
